Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church.

Saturday  afternoon May 10th, 2003.
 Another Berlin Icon.

The ruined tower of the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church stands as a silent reminder of the destruction from World War II.

The church was named in honour of Kaiser Wilhelm I in 1895, heavily damaged in bombing raids in 1943 and the bell tower was left as a reminder when a new church was built next to it during the period 1957 to 1963.

The church is just a short walk from the DB/S-Bahn/U-Bahn station at Zoologisher Garten.
